MAD は、実践を通じて学習が行われる場所であるルネッサンス時代のワークショップからインスピレーションを得ています。
MAD は、ルネッサンス時代の芸術工房「ボッテガ」を、師匠と弟子の日々の交流から知識が生まれる、直接的で実践的な教育の場として再解釈しています。
歴史的なワークショップと同様に、指導は抽象的なものではなく、没入型のものです。
モーターバレー出身の著名なデザイナーや幹部が、実際のプロジェクトを通じて学生を指導し、専門知識、方法論、デザイン感覚を伝えます。
