MOTORBIKE DESIGN
is about the unique relationship between rider, machine and movement. Students explore proportion, ergonomics, mechanical architecture, aerodynamics and visual identity to create motorcycles with a strong emotional and functional character.

Design Philosophy
Rider–Machine Connection
Designing around the unique physical and emotional relationship between rider and motorcycle.
Dynamic Proportion
Exploring stance, balance, mass distribution, and visual tension to communicate movement even when the vehicle is stationary.
Performance & Engineering
Integrating chassis architecture, aerodynamics, ergonomics, propulsion, and mechanical components into a coherent design language.
Emotion & Identity
Creating distinctive motorcycles that combine performance, cultural expression, brand identity, and the visceral character of two-wheel mobility.
Course Structure
Theoretical Modules
Motorcycle design history, two-wheel architecture, ergonomics, rider dynamics, aerodynamics, chassis and propulsion systems, materials, manufacturing, and brand identity.
Practical Workshops
Motorcycle sketching, proportion studies, digital modelling, rendering, ergonomic analysis, surface development, and physical or virtual prototyping.
Interdisciplinary Labs
Collaboration with engineering and technology disciplines to integrate design with chassis architecture, mechanical systems, aerodynamics, ergonomics, propulsion, and manufacturing.
Final Project
Development of a complete motorcycle concept, from initial research and sketches to digital modelling and prototyping, combining distinctive visual identity with rider experience, performance, and technical credibility.
